1970年神奈川県平塚市生まれの一卵性双生児。15歳の時に手に入れたカシオ計算機のデジタルシンセサイザーCZ-5000を使い、オリジナルのデモテーブ制作を始める。2009年頃よりそれまで作り溜めてきたデモテープの一部をYoutubeに公開したところ、オランダ・アムステルダムを拠点に活躍するDJ/クリエイターのYoung Marcoに見出され、2017年にYoung Marcoが主宰するレーベル＜Safe Trip＞から、CASIO CZ-5000のみで制作されたエレクトロニック・ニューエイジ／アンビエント・トラックを全編に収録したフル・アルバム『CZ-5000 Sounds and Sequences』と、12インチ・シングル『In a Corner of Asia/Tous Les Jours』をリリースする。また、2020年にはアルバム第二弾となる『CZ-5000 Sounds and Sequences Vol.II』をリリース。2021年と2022年には日本を代表する屋外フェスであるRainbow Disco Clubに出演。2024年からは自主企画『warewarenote』を立ち上げる。Satori、WheelRockの名義でもそれぞれ創作活動をしている。

Satoshi & Makoto are identical twins, born in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1970. At the age of 15, they acquired a Casio CZ-5000 digital synthesizer, which they began using to create original demo tapes. Around 2009, they uploaded a selection of these accumulated demo tapes to YouTube. They were soon discovered by Young Marco, a DJ and creator based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2017, they released their full-length album, CZ-5000 Sounds and Sequences, and the 12-inch single, In a Corner of Asia/Tous Les Jours, on Young Marco's label, Safe Trip. The album exclusively features electronic new age and ambient tracks created solely with the CASIO CZ-5000. Following this, they released their second album, CZ-5000 Sounds and Sequences Vol.II, in 2020. They performed at Japan's premier outdoor festival, Rainbow Disco Club, in both 2021 and 2022. Starting in 2024, they launched their self-organized event series, warewarenote. They also engage in solo creative activities under the aliases Satori and WheelRock, respectively.
